If your outside doesn’t feel good, then most likely your insides don’t feel good. Being clean and smelling great does not mean stripping your skin of its natural moisture with products that make you itch! Lamoon soap is artisan-crafted using vegetable oils carefully selected to give rich lather, nourish and not leave your skin feeling like it’s been scoured with harsh detergents.

Each oil we use to craft our soap is edible, so if you can put it on the inside, you ought to be able to put it on the outside, right? For instance, we use lots and lots of olive oil, honey and goat’s milk in our bars. Honey is purported to leave a humectant layer on your skin, and goat’s milk will make your skin feel soft and healthy. Well, we don’t suggest eating our soap, but some of them do smell good enough to nibble.

Speaking of fragrance, we don’t use mass-marketed fragrances that every soap crafter under the sun uses. We mix up our own smell-good and you can be sure that each bar of soap you buy from us is made with our house-blended scents that you can’t buy anywhere else. The fragrance you put on your skin should be delicious and enticing, and ours are created using naturally derived scents like lemongrass, violets, rich vanilla and cloves, even tobacco!

Our bars of soap are extra large: a big, long-lasting 7 ounces of hand-cut shower goodness. As long as you don’t leave it sitting in water or leave the shower pounding away at it, it will last you a pretty good long time, for soap, anyhow. Your bath will smell good, you’ll smell good, so it’s all good! Keep extra in stock, though, because when you run out, you’ll be awfully sad to have to grab a plain old bar of grocery store soap. You know what they say: Once you go natural, you’ll never go back (to harsh detergents).
